“KazMunaiGas EP” discovered new hydrocarbon accumulation at the Rozhkovskoye

New accumulation has been discovered at the Rozhkovskoye deposit in Kazakhstan in the formation of the Bashkir tier of the Carbonic period. The press-service of KazMunaiGas reports.

There has been received light pure oil and gas free-flowing during the test of the well U-24 on the north-east part of the deposit with a maximum flow rate of 1.9 thousand barrels of oil equivalent a day and 169 thousand cubic meters a day respectively on a  9.5 mm choke (24/64).
