New Gazprom competitor has appeared in Russia

A new company will work on equal basis with monopolies of Gazprom and Rosneft in shelf development.
Zarubezhneft, a 100% state property, has appealed to the profile Russian agency about development of the state shelf, the chief of the company S. Kudryashov says. They do not report now where Zarubezhneft is going to operate. They reported before about the intention of the company to work at the deposits of the Barents, Chukotka and Caspian Seas. Zarubezhneft states that it’s going to develop shelf with its Vietnamese partners.
