In January-March of 2014, Transoil – the largest private railway operator – increased the volume of petroleum cargo transportation to ports of the Azov and Black Seas by 11% to 4.038 million tons.
On the whole, in the first quarter about 14% of total volume of petroleum cargo transshipment in the ports of the Azov and Black Seas were transported to dock-side stations. Positive dynamics was reached due to the improvement of transportation organization and an increase of the processing at Afipsky and Ilsky refineries.
