In the next two years Romania is not going to provide reverse gas to the Ukraine.

Transgaz SA, the national gas transmission system operator in Romania, is not technically ready to start gas supplies to Ukraine for the next two years, which recently due to a sharp rise in price of Russian gas is forced to find the alternate routes of fuel supplies, the company states.

"In the current condition of Ukraine's gas, the transportation system operator National Romanian company Transgaz SA Medias, ... is not technically ready to start the export of gas in 2016-2017, except for small volumes of less than 1% of domestic production, which can be delivered through the "Szeged - Arad" pipeline, a statement writes.
