A new field is discovered at Uvat

RN-Uvaatneftegaz, a subsidiary of Rosneft, has discovered a new field at the West-Gerasimovsk licensed site. On the results of a test of a prospecting well at the Bolsheparfenovsk area, recoverable oil reserves of the field (C1+C2) make up about 3 million tons.
The field is planned to be called Tavricheskoye, RN-Uvatneftegaz plans to drill the second prospecting well in 2014. It is expected that the field’s recoverable oil reserves can be significantly increased by results of the well test. Registration of new field’s reserves is planned to take place in August of the current year.
