Irkutsk Region increases oil extraction by 15% in Q1

In Q1, 2013 the Irkutsk Region increased oil extraction by 15% compared to Q1, 2012 – to 2.678 million tons, the Subsoil Use department of the region reports.
As specified by Verkhnechonskneftegaz Plc., in Q1, 2013 1.87 million tons of oil (1.1 times growth) were extracted at the Verkhnechonskoye deposit.
