Mining and smelting company “Norilsk Nickel” considers it necessary to reduce nickel production in the world. If there is excess capacity in the sector, steel prices will hardly increase. Nickel production must be reduced by a quarter to impact the prices, but not more, first vice-president of “Norilsk Nickel” P.Fedorov asserted in an interview to Financial Times.
