Rosneft has been issued a license for South-Tarkosalinsky site in Yamal

Rosneft has been issued a license for geological study, including the search and assessment of deposits, exploration and extraction of mineral resources at the South-Tarkosalinsky site (Pur district, Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area).
The license was issued by the subsoil use department in the Urals federal district on Jan 29th 2016. The validity of the license is until Jan 28th 2041.
Rosneft is to start geological study and exploration of deposits not later than within 12 months from the date of approval of the respective project of works.
Previously Rosneft was issued a similar license for the South-Katangliysky site in the Sakhalin region.
