As of December 31st 2015 total hydrocarbons reserves of Gazprom Neft (taking into account the stakes in JVs) of 2P category – proved + probable –under SPE-PRMS made up 2.7 bln tons of oil equivalent. This is by 5.6% or 143 mln tons more against December 31st 2014. In 2015 Gazprom Neft covered the extraction volumes by new reserves by 279% (79.7 mln tons of oil equivalent).

The 1P – proved – hydrocarbons reserves of Gazprom Neft as of December 31st 2015 were assessed at 1.52 bln tons of oil equivalent (+5.2% against December 31st 2014). In this category of reserves the level of recovery exceeded the extraction by almost twice (93%).

Factors allowing in 2015 to significantly increase the resource base were geological exploration held by Gazprom Neft and its JVs, application of new technologies of operational drilling and methods of oil output increase as well as the increase of stakes in SeverEnergy and Nortgas.
