Rosgeologiya assessed the reserves of 2 deposits in Irkutsk region at 250 bln cubic m of gas and 104 mln tons of oil

​Rosgeologiya has completed the assessment of oil and gas content of the West-Iysky and South –Nakannovsky sites located in the Irkutsk region. The reserves were assessed at 250 bln cubic m of gas and 104 mln tons of oil.

The forecast local resources of the South –Nakannovsky site under D1 category were assessed at 104 mln tons and 113 bln cubic m of gas, of the West-Iysky site-146 bln cubic m of gas.

Geological exploration works were held from 2013 in the framework of the state contracts signed for 3 years. The project was financed on the account of the federal budget.

In December 2015 the specialists of the enterprise worked out the final geological schemes. They contain recommendations on further prospect evaluation survey and location of deep wells at the deposits.
