Russia. Coal production is up 1.5% in 2014

Coal production in Russia increased 1.5% in 2014 against 2013. The data of the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy sector states about it.

There was produced 357.33 million tons of coal in January-December in Russia, of which 251.8 million tons by open-pit mining, which almost corresponds to 2013 (+0.4%). The production volume by underground mining method increased 4.2% to 105.5 million tons.
