RusHydro has started capital repair of the 3rd hydro machine at Boguchansk hydro power plant

On Jan 14th 2015 the second capital repair of the hydro unit #3 started at the Boguchansk water power plant. The repair is held according to the schedule by the efforts of the plant’s personnel.
The works aim at a detailed analysis of the state of equipment of the hydro unit and its auxiliary systems.
It is also planned to control the metal of the working wheel with the application of the methods of non-destructive control by the magnetic test.
Typical works are held during the repair works: checking of the rim’s state, of blades and runner crown and the additional checking of the stator’s form for meeting the set parameters.
