Gazprom has promised Europe to transfer gas transit to Turkey.
Russia and the EU have designated positions in the negotiations on the fate of the "Turkish Stream" gas pipeline - the successor to the South Stream, canceled last December. "Gazprom" firmly made it clear that in any case it refused to transit gas through the Ukraine by 2020, and suggested Europe hurried to build a pipeline in order to receive gas through Turkey. The European Commission questioned both in the economic feasibility of the scheme, and in that "Gazprom" is ready to destroy his reputation as a reliable supplier for "the Turkish stream".
