Kazanorgsintez to reach the production of 1 mln tons of ethylene in 2025

One of the largest Russian producers and exporters of oil chemicals products Kazanorgsintez (in the structure of TAIF group) in 2025 will reach the ethylene production of 1 mln tons and will increase the revenue to 125 bln roubles, the President of Tatarstan, R. Minnikhanov, said.

Though there are difficulties with raw materials supply, the potential of Kazanorgsintez is very high. The strategy of further development presupposes to make 100 bln roubles of revenue in 2020, in 2025-up to 125 bln roubles and reach the ethylene output of 1 mln tons, Mr. Minnikhanov said.

According to him, it is a very ambitious goal but it is based on modern technologies. We stay the largest producer of ethylene in our country. I am sure we have good perspectives, he said.

Currently the capacity of the ethylene production at Kazanorgsintez is 605.6 thousand tons a year, the capacities are loaded by 95%. On the results of 2015 the plant plans to make a net profit of 18.1 bln roubles, which is by 3 times more than in 2014, the revenue is expected at 67 bln roubles (+23% against 2014).
