Mangystau exceeds the plan for oil.

Alik Aidarbayev, the Akim of the Mangistau region, speaking at a briefing in CCS reported that in the first 9 months of 2014 the total volume of oil production amounted to 13.8 million tons, which is 2.7% more than in the same period last year.
"We continue to improve the efficiency of the existing fields. For the first few years the region showed an increase in oil production. During the first 9 months of this year the production totaled 13.8 million tons of oil. The plan was exceeded by 2.7%. The oil production in old fields was increased: Zhetibay, Kalamkas, Ozen, Karajanbas", - the head of the region stated.
