In 2014, Uzbekneftegas to start to construct facilities at gas fields in the Bukhara region

~~In the first quarter of 2014, the state-owned holding company Uzbekneftegas will start to construct facilities at the gas fields in the Gazlinsk region (south-west of the country), a source in the company reported on Thursday.

“The project is very big, it was decided to divide it into several stages; feasibility study will be approved before the end of the year and the financing of the first stage will begin,” – the source reported.

Within the first stage of the project in the amount of $175 million, it’s planned to construct a booster compressor station with capacity of 2.2 billion cubic meters and a concomitant infrastructure by 2016. Parameters of the following construction stages are in the process of coordination.
