Novatek to export LNG from Gydan peninsula

Novatek has obtained the right to export LNG from the Gydan peninsula (Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area). The respective order has been published on the website of the Russian Government.

According to the document, “Arctic LNG 1”, “Arctic LNG 2” and “Arctic LNG 3” that are in the structure of Novatek are included in the list of companies which are given the right to export LNG. These companies hold the licenses for the Geophysichesky and Salmanovsky (Utrenny) deposits as well as the North-Obsky license site respectively. They are located at the Gydan peninsula in the Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area.
