The construction of the gas chemical complex near Svobodniy was discussed today in the Government of the area.
Oleg Kozhemyako met with the representatives of "Sibur Holding" headed by Dmitry Konov, the Chairman of the Board, the General Director.
The Amur region plays an important role in the State Eastern Gas Program. "Power of Siberia" gas transportation system will come through the region. The gas processing complex will be constructed for the extraction of the valuable components (in particular, helium and ethane) from the gas in the Amur region. "Sibur", the partner of the gas company plans to create a gas-chemical complex for the subsequent production of monomers and polymers.
