Naftogas suggests holding 3-party gas negotiations: Ukraine-EU-Russia

Naftogas Ukrainy again initiates the 3-party negotiations about gas supplies with the participation of the Ukraine, Russia and the EU. The meeting is supposed to be held in September.

According to Naftogas Ukrainy, the negotiations are necessary due to the suggestion of Naftogas Ukrainy on the transfer of the gas purchase by the European companies from the Western border of the Ukraine to the Western border of Russia. This measure, according to Kiev, will allow it to provide a reliable gas transit to the EU and finally to guarantee the energy safety of the EU. By handing its gas to the buyers on the border with the Ukraine, Gazprom OJSC will be deprived of the possibility to blackmail Europe by the supply termination using the groundless accusations of the unsanctioned gas collection by the Ukraine, Naftogas Ukrainy reports.
