Planned peak of gas extraction at Shakh-Deniz to be reached in 2020

The planned peak of annual gas extraction at the second line of the Shakh-Deniz deposit in Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea – 16 billion cubic metres in addition to 9 billion cubic metres extracted in the framework of the first stage of the project will be reached in 2020, Baku business information portal abc.az reported on Tuesday.
