European Reconstruction and Development Bank to study an opportunity of issuing $300 mln for gas for the Ukraine

The European Reconstruction and Development Bank will study the opportunity of issuing $250-300 mln for gas purchase to the Ukraine.

The Ministry of Energy of the Ukraine reported that the negotiations on the issue of a loan for gas purchase ended with no result. Meanwhile Kiev needs about $1 bln to load its underground gas storage facilities before the heating season. The Ukraine addressed the International Monetary Fund and European Reconstruction and Development Bank asking for a loan. Now the bank has changed its primary opinion.
