Rosneft starts to develop the Osoveiskoye field in the Nenets autonomous district

RN – Severnaya neft (subsidiary of Rosneft) has started operations the Osoveyskoye field in the Nenets Autonomous District, Rosneft reports.
Development drilling is currently being carried out at the Osoveyskoye field. The planned launch of the first two wells is scheduled for August of 2014.
According to Rosneft, seismic surveys 3D were carried out the site, three exploration wells were drilled, and scale work to prepare the field for the drilling was done - properties of oil and reservoir rocks were studied and commercial oil influxes were obtained.
