Interview with Rosneft’s Deputy Chief Geologist C. Einchcomb

Q. : Russia lives now within multiple limits. The sanctions have influenced the international expansion of Rosneft in the upstream segment.

A. : The sanctions have not considerably touched the company’s operation at the external markets. Nowadays we have the projects in North America, at the Mexican Gulf coastal offshore and onshore in Canada, and in Brazil and Venezuela in Latin America. We have the shares at the sites of the Norwegian part of the Barents Sea. We realize the projects in Algeria in the Middle East, the Sharjah project in the UAE but they are of low priority now. Besides from that, Rosneft’s majority production asset is located in Vietnam.
