Yukos has complained in Supreme Arbitration Court the verdict about illegality of transactions with Samaraneftgaz for 3 billion rubles

Supreme Arbitration Court has registered the claim of the Luxembourgian company Yukos Capital S. a. r. l. about revision of the verdict about illegality of 2 contracts under which the company granted to Samaraneftgaz loans for a total sum of over 3 billion rubles.
The Federal Arbitration Court of Povolzhye confirmed on March 2 illegality of these 2 contracts. Thus, the third instance court rejected the cassation claim of Yukos Capital S. a. r. l., controlled by the former managers of Yukos and confirmed the verdicts of the lower courts.
