Russia is shown the limit of power.
There is not enough power for turbines more than 300 MW.
Government and market participants began to sum up the first attempts to study the real prospects of import of foreign equipment. Machine builders and energy producers were skeptical about the prospects for the development of domestic gas turbines of 300 MW and above. Working group at the RF Ministry of Industry and Energy considered at least completing the development of existing turbines up to 180 MW more feasible. This means that during the construction of large power generating units generators still have to rely on imported technology, although, as shown by the example of the Crimea, due to the sanctions Western companies are not always ready to supply its turbines in Russia.
