400 thousand tons of superviscous oil are produced at the Ashalchinskoye field

Tatneft has produced 400 000 tons of superviscous oil from the start of the production at the Ashalchinskoye field, te company’s press centre reports.
To date, Tatneft has drilled 63 wells of projected 106 horizotnal wells, including 29 paired wells and 5 single cyclic-steam horizontal wells; 24 paired wells and 5 single wells with oil yield at the site of over 630 tons per day are operated.
Tatneft has implemented the Nurlanneft’s superviscous oil production program for viscous oil at the Ashalchinskoye field since 2006. The object of the industrial development is the Sheshminsky horizon of the Ufa tier of the Cheremshano - Bastrykskoy zone.
