Vetek and Lukoil to work closely in Odessa

The Odessa refinery (a part of VETEK) plans to conclude a deal with Lukoil on oil supply from May of 2013 till April of 2014 to the amount of $1.98 billion, the Interfax Ukraina reports, referring to the decision of the meeting of the refinery’s shareholders that took place on April, 29.
In fact, that means that in case of fulfillment of these contracts, Lukoil will be the only supplier for the Odessa refinery, because the contract amount at current prices is equivalent to 2.5 million tons of oil. In turn, this answers to nominal capacity of the plant.
