Kazakhmys increased copper production in cathode equivalent by 8% in Q1

Kazakhmys PLC (KZMS PLC) produced 55.5 thousand tons of copper in cathode equivalent in the first quarter (+8% against 2015), National Business reports.
Bar gold production made up 850 kg (+95% against Q1, 2015), silver – 69 tons (+12%).
Average content of copper in ore made up 0.95% (+0.88% against average copper content in Q1, 2015 and +0.05% against planned figure).
