Belarus has renewed petrol supply to Russia

​The Belarus Petroleum Company has renewed gasoline supply to Russia according to the previously signed agreements with the Ministry of Energy of Russia.

In March 2015 Belarus terminated gasoline supply to Russia due to the economic inexpediency. Russia supplies oil to Belarus at domestic prices receiving a part of oil products in exchange.

According to the Ministry of Energy of Russia, in Jan-February Russia imported about 142 thousand tons of gasoline from Belarus, in 2014 – 244 thousand tons.

According to the Vice-Prime Minister of Belarus, V. Semashko, in Jan-February 2015 Belarus fully executed its obligations by gasoline supply to Russia. When supplying gasoline to Russia the Belarus oil refinery plants made losses at the amount of about $100/ton.
