Auriant strengthens production and geological service

​From April 14th Auriant Mining introduces new positions – deputy CEO for production issues and deputy CEO for geology.

S. Baikalov has been appointed the acting deputy CEO for production and I. Pashkov – deputy CEO for geology. V. Churin, who has been working at the company as chief geologist from 2012, will go on working at this position.

S. Baikalov is a qualified manager with 2 years of experience in the mining sector. He joined Auriant Mining in 2012 as a CEO of the mine of the Tardan deposit. Previously he headed the ferronickel mine Solway in Guatemala and a mining department of UC RUSAL in Guinea. His experience in Russia is managing a large sand pit in the Kaluga region, managing a clay pit in the Kaluga region and working at a gold mining enterprise “Sovrudnik” in Krasnoyarsk.

I. Pashkov has over 30 years of experience in geology and gold mining sector. He joined Auriant Mining in May 2013 as a chief geologist for assessment and development of new projects. His previous experience is the position of a chief geologist at the Kuranakh deposit in Yakutia, CEO for production at Aldanzoloto.
