In 2021-2024, oil production in the Caspian Sea may reach 200 million tons per year

By 2021-2024, oil production in the Caspian Sea may reach 200 million tons per year, and gas – 270 billion cubic meters, chairman of the Lukoil’s Board, Valery Graifer said at the international economic forum “Caspian Dialogue”.

“Sea projects are priority for Lukoil, including projects in the Caspian Sea, although we work in the Baltic Sea and abroad – in Romania, Vietnam and other countries. The main directions of our activity, in addition to increase of the oil production, are staff training, attention to ecology and safety of equipment,” – Graifer said.
