Kiev, Berlin and Moscow can take the Ukrainian pipeline under integrated control.

The Ukraine, Russia and Germany can take the Ukrainian gas transportation system (GTS) under the "triple control", Ivan Grachev, the head of the Duma Committee on Energy, stated.

According to Grachev, the talks, recently held in Berlin, "increased the chances of a deal" both for "the third energy package", and "the most painful" Ukrainian question.

"The position of the leading German energy companies is close to ours. They believe that we should try to quickly take control of the pipeline under the triple alliance, so that there was no interruption. It is in the interests of the whole Europe, Germany, and Russia. It is also in the interests of the Ukraine", - he stated.
