Uzbekistan:Coal mining to double by 2016

Uzbekugol Plc. is going to increase coal mining from 3.8 million to 18 million tons by 2020.
The investment projects aimed at the modernization of the coal mining enterprises and the development of coal deposits make up the main goal, as known coal reserves in the republic exceed 1.8 billion tons and forecasted resources – 3.5 billion tons.
