S. Kurchenko to buy the Odessa oil refinery plant

The notorious oligarch S. Kurchenko will spend 1.6 bln grivna of Government funds for the purchase of the Odessa oil refinery plant.
A source says that the belonging to Mr. Kurchenko companies have received natural gas from Naftogas valued at 1.6 bln grivna and haven’t paid for it as yet though were supposed to pay in October. But the financial director of “Semiya”, S. Arbuzov, was said to have called the management of Naftogas and insisted on waiting for the debts return – in exchange for refinancing to its affiliates.
