In Jan-Feb the Ukraine reduced ferroalloys and manganese raw materials production

In Jan-Feb 2013, the Ukrainian ferroalloys enterprises reduced their production against the same period in 2012 by 24% to 113.5 thousand tons.

The production of silicon manganese fell 8.6% to 93.6 thousand tons, ferromanganese – 36.4% to 13.6 thousand tons, 45% ferrosilicium – 72.6% to 6.3 thousand tons. The metallic manganese production was not held while in 2012 the volume of its production made up 2.9 thousand tons.
