Launch of Bystrinsky GOK in the Trans-Baikal region is scheduled for December of 2016

Launch of Bystrinsky GOK in the south-east of the Trans-Baikal region is scheduled for December of 2016. The enterprise’s capacity at the first stage will make up 5 million tons of ore. In 2017, the processing level will reach 10 million tons, Minister of Natural Resources and Industrial Policy in the Trans-Baikal region Oleg Polyakov reported to the ITAR-TASS on Friday.

The Minister added that Governor of the Trans-Baikal region Konstantin Ilkovsky and deputy general director of Norilsk Nickel Sergei Dyachenko visited the construction of GOK the day before. “They were content with the pace of works. All the main processes – construction of sites, roads and storages – are carried out in time,” – Polyakov said.
