SOCAR has reduced retail price for Super and premium petrol marks, however, price didn’t change

SOCAR due to the price fall for oil and oil products in the world market has reduced the retail price for Super and Premium petrol marks by 2 gapiks. Due to the changes in the Tax Code of Azerbaijan, the road tax at the volume of 2 gapiks was added to the price of 1 liter of petrol.

So the price of Super and Premium petrol stayed the same. Previously, on Jan 12th, the Tariff Council of Azerbaijan decided that after the addition to the price (2 gapiks), the price of Ai-92 mark will make up 72 gapiks per liter, and the price of diesel fuel – 62 gapiks per liter. The decision came into force from Jan 13th 2015. The petrol of Super mark is sold at the car fuel stations of Azerbaijan at the price of 1 manat and 7 gapiks per liter, Premium mark – 95 gapiks.
