“National IPO” of national companies of Samruk-Kazyna funds not to be held any more

The top-manager of the state funds said that a list of companies for IPO is being considered. Various variants are being considered. There were talks concerning the IPO of KazMunaiGas, though it is not clear if it is held or not, but about 5 infrastructure companies are being primarily considered for IPO from 2017, Mr. Erdebai said.
Meanwhile Samruk-Energo is the only company ready for an IPO. We will attract a financial consultant and we’ll see in what way the IPO will be held. There will be no more national IPO, he said.
