Co-owners of fields in Timano-Pechora and the Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous district looking for a purchaser of their shares

As it became known, shareholders of independent oil company Nobel Oil with assets in Komi and the Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous district and reserves in the amount of 70 million tons are negotiating on its sale. Among the main contenders Rosneft, Gazpromneft and Nephtussa of Mikhail Gutseriev are called, though their representatives don’t confirm the interest. According to analysts, because of liquidity problems and falling of oil prices the value of the company may vary from $250 million to $1.5 billion

 
Investors from China

A source close to the company told about the negotiations for the sale of Nobel Oil, and this was confirmed by sources in several large and medium-sized oil companies. According to several interviewees, the company is being sold during a few years. But one of them has heard that a new round of the talks began a few months ago. This was confirmed by managing director of Advance Capital Karen Dashyan, who is adviser of Nobel Oil on the sale of the company. According to him, due diligence began in August.
