Gazpromneft produces the first million barrels of commercial oil at the Sarqala field in Iraq

Gazprom Neft Middle East, a subsidiary of Gazpromneft, implementing exploration projects in the Kurdish region of Iraq, in a joint venture with the Canadian company Western-Zagros Resources, which operates at the Sarqala field, has produced the first million barrels of commercial crude oil. It is planned that by the end of this year, the production at the field will be 1.5 million barrels, according to the press centre of the company.
