VMZ “Krasny Oktyabr” updates sheet rolling mill “2000”

The reconstruction of the mill “2000” into the mill “3000” is carried out at the Volgograd metallurgical zavod, the Krasny Oktyabr Closed joint-stock company. The project is aimed at getting the opportunity to manufacture the sheet of more than 2 meters width and up to 11 tons weight, the press-service of the company states.
The plant also resumes the production of cold-rolled plates at the same subdivision and carries out the operation on the reconstruction of the mill '1600'conserved-in-1995. After the completion of the renovation there will be possible to carry out plates rolling of a thickness of up to 0.8mm.
