S.Donskoy. Sanctions to affect only the long-term projects.

The sanctions imposed by the USA and the EU have not led to the cessation of work within almost any of the existing projects, S.Donskoy, the head of the RF Ministry of Natural Resources, stated in an interview with the Russian newspaper.

According to him, the market of production and hydrocarbon processing is international.

The technology is not only concentrated in the West, so the Russian oil industry may seek to partner countries that are interested in a long term relationship with the country.

S.Donskoy confidently stated that the sanctions were aimed at long-term projects that would come to the fore in 15-20 years.

And it is of great importance in terms of the positioning of the Russian Federation as a member of the global oil market in the long term.
