The Netherlands is trying to reduce its dependence on Russian gas

The Netherlands  plans to increase gas production in the North Sea  to reduce the dependence of the country on Russian gas.

The Government of the Netherlands is about to attract NAM (Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij) to solve this problem. The exploration showed existence of gas reserves of 120 billion cubic meters in total at 268 areas. There might be opened deposits at 165 billion cubic meters. Gas resources are enough for 10 years.
