Kazakhstan has started construction of the first oil chemical technical park

Kazakhstan has started construction of the first oil chemical technical park in the Atyrau region. It will be placed in the special economy zone with total area of over 3,500 ha. They are the territories nearby the Bolashak plant that will refine oil from the Kashagan deposit, in several kilometers to the active Tengiz deposit and in the city of Atyrau, the Director of the United chemical company A. Tanatarov says. They are going to create in the zone the enterprises producing polyethylene, polypropylene, butadiene and polymer film operating on gas from  Kashagan.
