The creation of the first petrochemical technological park has begun in the Atyrau region (Kazakhstan). It will be located in a special economic zone.
The total area of the special economic zone makes up 3.5 thousand ha. According to the managing director of “United Chemical Company” LLP, A.Tanatarov they will creat the facilities for the production of polyethylene, polypropylene, butadiene and polymeric film, which will use the gas from the Kashagan deposit, RccNews.ru reports.
