HGM increased precious metal production in H1 by 3.7%

Highland Gold Mining (HGM, 32.6% belongs to Millhouse of R.Abramovich), producing gold in Russia, mined 105.63 thousand ounces (3.3 tons) of gold equivalent in the first half of 2013. It is by 3.7% more than during the same period last year, the company states.

The result comprises mining at the deposits Mnogovershinnoye and Novoshirokinskoye. The company confirms forecast for 2013 at 225-240 thousand ounces of gold equivalent. They produced 68.996 thousand ounces of gold (2.15 tons) at Mnogovershinnoye, 36.634 thousand ounces (1.14 tons) at Novoshirokinskoye (+14.4%).
