NLMK keeps leadership in the Russian metallurgical sector

​In June the shipment of rolled products from NLMK by railway to the Russian consumers and export made up 1 mln tons. This is by 2.4% lower than in May. In annual terms the shipment grew by 1.4%. This is the best result of products sale by railway in the sector.

In particular, in June the export (692 thousand tons) rose by 2.5% within a month, in annual terms – by 0.8%. The shipment to the Russian consumers made up 315.4 tons (-11.7%, +2.9%).

In H1 2016 the shipment reached 6.1 mln tons. This is by 1.7% higher than in H1 2015. The export rose by 0.6% to 4.03 mln tons, domestic shipment – by 3.8% to 2.07 mln tons.

Since 2012 NLMK has been the leader in the sector by the total shipment and loading for export, the 3rd – by the supplies to the domestic market.
