Joint venture of KazMunayGas, Gazprom and Lukoil has waited for license during 7 years

The Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Sergei Donskoy has submitted to the Government a draft executive order on granting the license for subsoil area in the Caspian Sea, including the Tsentralnoye deposit. The license for geological exploration and production will be received by oil and gas company Tsentralnaya, 50% of which are owned by KazMunayGas, 25% by Lukoil and Gazprom each. The single payment for subsoil use will be 4.266 billion rubles, a representative of the Ministry of Natural Resources reported to the Vedomosti. The draft order was agreed by relevant agencies, including the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Energy, a memorandum to the project says. A representative of the Ministry of Energy confirmed the approval of the document. The Ministry of Economic Development received the draft. But its coordination by the Ministry is not required, a representative of the Ministry of Economic Development reported.
