Lukoil-Komi is asked to eliminate oil pipelines at 4 deposits in the region

The Pechora nature preserving Prosecutor’s Office has found out 12 sites of inactive pipelines on the territory of the West –Tebuksky, Kyrtaelsky, Pashnisky, North-Aressky deposits.
These pipelines of Lukoil-Ukhtaneftegas were put into operation in the 1970-80s and are not operated now.
The Pechora nature preserving Prosecutor’s Office has filed a claim to the Usinsky Court asking to make Lukoil dismantle the oil pipelines and recultivate these sites.
According to the rules of operation, revision, repair and scrapping of pipelines, the pipeline that exceeded the amortization period after their technical-economic assessment of replacement or liquidation need to be dismantled.
