RusGidro to discuss with Rosneft gas supplies to power stations in the Far East

RusGidro discusses with Rosneft the issue on gas supplies to power stations that are constructed in the Far East, the RusGidro’s Head Eugenie Dod reported to journalists by results of the meeting of the State Duma’s Committee on Energy, during which Far Eastern projects were considered.
“We closely work with Rosneft, we have a signed agreement on development of cooperation in the Far East, if we have possibility we will agree with them and reconfigure these stations to gas. I think, this year we should have time (to make a decision),” – he said. According to him, the transfer to gas may lead to almost 40% decrease of capital expenditures during the construction of facilities.
